Middle School Program Visit
Feeder schools Crockett Academy and Tafolla Middle School had a chance to tour each building giving an insight of each program at Lanier. Our Captain and Co-captain of The Robotics Team hosted a tour of the engineering and robotics program. During the tour students had a chance to ask questions and see firsthand of the FRC Robot being worked on and demonstrated.

Alamo City Electrathon Race
The Robotics Team competes in an electric vehicle endurance race during the robotics off season. The electric car was a project that began in November of 2021 as a way too help present hands on experiences in the automotive and engineering fields. The objective of the Alamo City Electrathon Race was to compete with other teams to see who can travel the furthest distance on two fully charged automotive batteries.

S.T.E.M. Night
Hosted and arranged by the Robotics Team was a S.T.E.M. Night (Science,Technology,Engineering, and Mathematics) Which included Lanier ROTC and Drama club. The mission for this event was to welcome younger minds into the stem field due to low percentages of individuals seeking careers in stem.

Core 4 Event
Lanier Robotics was invited to port San Antonio for the event Core 4, the main objective was to inspire young kids from middle schools all around San Antonio about getting into Robotics or S.T.E.M in general. We were at the event for 2 days and got to talk to numerous amounts of kids that were either interested in robotics or engineering and even some that weren't.
